  First off, this place doesn't let you touch a real phone until you've bought it. I bought my last phone here and it was TERRIBLE. The accelerometers didn't work, the touch screen was abysmal, the music player was buggy and had no volume. So this time I wanted to actually use the phone before buying it. No such luck. You can play with the non-operational "dummy" phones all you want, but real phones are not available. Second, the staff is horribly ignorant about their products. I wanted a smartphone and the service rep kept pushing the Blackberry Torch - not a bad phone, but according to the reviews it doesn't hold a candle to the latest Android or Apple units. I tried to get more info, but she simply continued to insist that the Blackberry was superior in every way. (RIM has more apps than the iPhone? Really?) Speaking of apps, I especially liked the fact that she insisted that GPS receiver on the phone would only work if I bought the $10/month AT&T GPS package. Um, no. There are dozens of other GPS apps out there, many of which are free. But somebody who didn't know this might get suckered into wasting $120 per year. Seriously, shopping in this place was like visiting a third-rate used car lot. There is absolutely no reason to do business with these people. Drive the extra three miles to go to a real AT&T store that has working phones and moderately well-informed sales reps.
